California State Bar filed lawsuit against ProctorU/Meazure Learning on May 5, 2025 (Case No. 25STCV13089). Class action filed by examinees. California Supreme Court on June 11, 2025 approved: (1) expanding Provisional License Program to affected first-time takers; (2) extending score adjustments based on November 2024 performance. Pass rate reached 55.9% (highest since 1965). Meazure filed to dismiss class action in October 2025, claiming no direct contractual relationship with examinees.
