In May 2021, ProctorU eliminated AI-only proctoring company-wide. Multiple schools rejected proctoring software. ProctorU's response to University of Iowa data showed systemic failure: 89% of 'suspicious' flags were never actually reviewed by instructors, rendering the flags essentially accusations without adjudication.
